3D Cone Beam

Dr. Gradoville is able to utilize the latest technology in 3-dimensional imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. A scan is recorded in 8 to 30 seconds, in our office, and produces a 3-dimensional image of the patient’s upper and lower jaws within minutes. A cone beam, or cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), scan can be used in the following ways:

  • dental implant treatment planning
  • identify dental pathology
  • locate and identify dental anatomy  (sinuses, nerve positions, impacted teeth)
  • orthodontic movement
  • fractured teeth
  • endodontic (root canal) treatment
